Megan Shank, DDS

Megan Shank, DDS, is a general dentist at Cole Street Dental who is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care and building meaningful connections with her patients and community.

Dr. Shank was raised in Merced, California, where she first discovered her interest in dentistry during high school. After working in several dental offices throughout her undergraduate studies, she was inspired by the impact her mentor had on patients and knew dentistry was the career for her.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from California State University, Fresno, before relocating to Seattle to attend the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Her love for Seattle began during a road trip from California, when she caught her first glimpse of Mount Rainier and knew she wanted to call Washington home.

During dental school, Dr. Shank served as her class social chair, strengthening her communication skills while bringing students and faculty together. She carries that same focus on connection into patient care, striving to make every patient feel comfortable, informed, and heard.

Outside the office, Megan enjoys fitness classes, sharing meals with friends, traveling, and exploring new countries. She also loves crafting and sewing, including making many of the scrub caps she wears at the office.
